Internal Institutional Review – SVIAS

The Internal Institutional Review (IIR) was conducted at the Swamy Vipulananda Institute of Aesthetic Studies (SVIAS), Eastern University, Sri Lanka, on 21^st –22^nd of December, 2024, as a mock review in preparation for the UGC Institutional Review.

Review Team:

• Prof. T. Velnampy – Dean, Faculty of Graduate Studies, University of Jaffna, Sri Lanka
• N. Rajeshwaran – Dean, Faculty of Commerce & Management, Eastern University, Sri Lanka
• T. Mathiventhan – Dean, Faculty of Technology, Eastern University, Sri Lanka

During the visit, the team conducted meetings with the Director, Head of Departments, Academics, Administrative, Student Counsellors, Academic Supportive Staff, Non-Academic Staff, Student Representatives, Coordinators of the Centres & Units. In addition, the team observed facilities such as Library, Hostels, Centres / Units, Lecture halls, Computer Labs, Medical Centre, Language Learning Zone, Sports Unit, Auditorium, Gallery, and Canteen. The SER team facilitated document reviews, with Dr. P. Elango, Director of the Centre for Quality Assurance, also participated in the process.
